This vibrant triptych was inspired by the pulsating rhythmic lights of a rock concert. The dominant visual element is a series of diagonal, brushstroke-like lines that sweep across all three panels.
The color palette is rich and varied, transitioning from cooler blues and teals in the upper sections to warmer pinks, purples, and reds in the lower portions. Within each diagonal line, there’s a noticeable variation in color and tone, creating a sense of movement and texture. Certain colors shimmer and sparkle with the light. Some lines are smooth and subtle, while others retain a distinct, almost staccato quality. Several papers are iridescent, changing color as the viewing angle or illumination changes adding to the frenetic feeling of a live concert light show.
The overall effect is dynamic and energetic, suggesting a sense of abstract energy currents - emulating falling rain or flowing water. The variations in color within each panel contribute to the artwork’s unique character while maintaining a cohesive visual flow across the three sections. The spaces between the panels create a subtle visual break, emphasizing the individual nature of each panel while still uniting them as a whole.
3 (Three) panels: 12" x 36" x 1.5" each; 39" x 33" 1.5" overall dimensions. Finished with stained wood veneer edges. Ready to hang: French cleats (Z-clips) installed on backs, with additional cleats for wall included.
