Aventurine

This circular collage is dominated by a rich and varied palette of greens, interspersed with shades of brown, olive, black, and hints of gold.

Horizontal strips that vary greatly in width and texture, are layered on top of each other, creating a highly tactile and rugged surface. The edges of the strips are torn or deckled, contributing to the raw, organic look. Alternating layers of dark and light greens, along with the occasional use of muted browns and shimmering golds, give the piece a stratified or layered geological appearance – like aventurine, a type of quartz known for its shimmering optical effect and is often green.
